This is the truest teaching on what it means to repent I have heard to date. Understanding that God does not expect us to come spotless is sooooo important. It is also important to know that you don’t just say a prayer once and done. It is a sincere heart, coming as you are, in all your failures, believing in who He is and the gravity of what He did. It is so humbling to understand that He is our ever present Lord and Savior who took our deserving place on the cross, nailing every past present and future sin to it, simply because He loves us. I love Paul Washer’s clear and concise message on the truth of repentance, as I also have come to understand it. It is refreshing to hear honest Christian pastors speaking truth which isn’t popular or good feeling but is truth from God’s word.
